The plural of anecdote is not data. AND The more you experience the depths of human suffering the more you value placebo, if indeed that's all it is. Without definitive biochemical studies and double blind testing we can't make definitive statements. Human Experience however is able to provide some people with information that leads to a reduction in their suffering and that's good enough for me.
I'm not stupid enough to totally discount it based on my experience with gas station gummies. It does something given the right circumstances. The 12 Steppers shitting themselves over people taking a mild relaxation drug is pretty entertaining/infuriating. I'm coming out of a very hard to describe world of religious morons.
