Ok, I can see that OB is used just like OP on other sites to refer to the 'Original Poster', but what is OB actually short for? I can't seem to find anything that states it. And it's just one of those little things that's driving me bonkers not knowing.
Are you referring to this? In that case, it's just an abbreviation of OftenBen's name. Otherwise, I have no idea, and I've been here quite awhile.
Ahhh.. I seemed to have come across it on a few posts and hadn't noticed what the original posters username was. I guess OftenBen must be a more prominent figure around here then? Haha. In seeing OP quite frequently used on Reddit and other forums, I just assumed it meant something similar. Thanks. I can go back to sleeping easy again. :)
I agree. I've never actually used OP before, just seen it a lot and mistook OB to be something similar.
