I've been considering deleting my facebook for awhile now, but I find it too useful in terms of getting updates from groups and bands. Otherwise I could ditch it in a second, anyone I find worth talking to I already text, call or see in real life.
Twitter could be a good replacement if you only use Facebook for updates.

I would love to replace it with something less social, and more universal address book.
