I recently ate at a chain restaurant in L.A. called The Vegan Grille (I think), and I had a version of buffalo "chicken" that was made of soy protein (I think). Frankly, because I knew it wasn't real chicken I could tell the difference, but if I hadn't known, I don't think I would've noticed. It was that close, but just a bit less dense than chicken. I'm not a vegetarian, but I would eat there if there was one close to me. What's the point of eating meat if you don't have to?
