I have two dogs. One is a Vizsla and the other is an English pointer. Both of my dogs are in perfect shape for their breeds. They have a very healthy diet and they get plenty of exercise. As such, they are svelte and you can see, just slightly, the outline of their ribs. People at the dog park will often ask if something is wrong with them or why they are so thin. It's quite obnoxious. I mentioned this to my veterinarian and he said that, like people, most dogs are actually out of shape and overweight. As far as health is concerned, I am very healthy 100%, both physically and mentally. I do not have any type of eating disorder, I'm not malnourished, and I don't intentionally starve myself. People tend to forget that eating disorders like Anorexia are serious diseases that people really suffer with everyday and they go beyond just being incredibly thin.
