There are plenty of documentaries that go into detail. Basically, solitary does cause an impact on the brain. It's well documented.

You know of a good one to watch? Really wondering about good unbiased science based analysis, I wouldn't think the prison system would be very eager let researchers get the acesse needed to perform that kind of work.
