I haven't lived in Ann Arbor for a few years now. Perhaps it wasn't there then. It looks like a good time though, I checked out their website. I look forward to seeing more of your work. You may want to tag your posts #photography, people follow that tag and will be more likely to see them. Just an FYI.
Thank you, I appreciate the help as I'm just learning how to use it. I didn't see an option to upload a profile photo...
You can always link to your website in the URL bar of the submission boxes. Then below that in the text box you can write a description of your work and then use imgur.com to post the image. Like this:
photo taken from markbialek.com You can click on the markup link in the upper right corner of the comment boxes to see how to format stuff. Also, if you have any other questions you can click on my name and then use "send mail" to private message me. I'm always happy to help. Again, great work.
Thanks. Do you work at Hubski? Hubski must be working on a system for attaching photos. Going to another site to attach a photo is too much work.
Mark, this is Steve. As for posting photos on Hubski, you will find that almost any aggregator uses an outside site for hosting images. Having people post images is a nice attribute, but it is not what we hope for people to use Hubski solely for. Also it takes a lot of memory to host such things. We also do not host video but use YouTube and Vimeo to allow people to share videos. It's really no different with images. Again, feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Glad to see you here
