I just got back from a trip to Mexico. The cigarette packs there have pretty gruesome photographs of death and deformed babies etc on them. These images are there with text that says things like, "Cigarettes will kill you". -No joke. They are very straight forward and intense and yet people still purchase them. That said, I imagine these images/warnings will dissuade the "new" smoker from developing the habit.
