"I don't know of any U.S. producer that would want to do that. Elimination of all pollen can only be achieved by ultra-filtering and this filtration process does nothing but cost money and diminish the quality of the honey," Jensen said.
"In my judgment, it is pretty safe to assume that any ultra-filtered honey on store shelves is Chinese honey and it's even safer to assume that it entered the country uninspected and in violation of federal law...
...There is only one reason to ultra-filter honey and there's nothing good about it," he says.

When will the demand for idealized food end? Crystal clear honey, red round tomatoes, yellow corn.....cookie cutter foods for the god-fearing philistine. I prefer the weird heirloom with the propensity for anthropomorphising. I root for the fallen fruit. I choose the dented can!

I don't think that they do. At least I couldn't find anything that suggested it. There are claims that honey pollen can reduce allergies, but I found one study that didn't find any benefit:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11868925 My guess is that pollen allergies usually regard inhalation of the pollen rather than ingestion.
