I like this a lot. Seeing things like this on paper make it seem so reductionist, so oversimplified, but simplicity doesn't always imply ease. He never wrote what happens when people do choose the worst option though. This is how an ex-roommate and I ended up chopping up our couch during our last minute move because our other roommates had moved out already and we'd gotten it in through a window.
