Be careful you don't end up with a pile up of cars behind you that aren't as much at "peace".
Where I grew up we still had many dirt or gravel roads. I used to drive them quite often just to get some "peace", it was really nice. Some of them are still there but as development spreads, the pavement does too.

Very cool. If I was in LA I'd definitely go check it out. While I agree that there is a new evolution that will have to occur regarding transport, I think it will be a while yet As special interests fight change. I think the next steps are likely to be the ones outlined by Bill Ford in this TED talk:
