Hey that sucks your dog has passed. Unfortunately this type of content is not suitable for this website and it would be cool if others did not post things like this.. I hope you can understand.
You can always "ignore" aperson or even the tag "dogs", but I found no problem with him posting this. That's just me. But I think what's nice is that if you don't appreciate a certain users content you can easily prevent it from further making your feed. I posted about my dog dying. It's a hell of an experience to go through.
Actually, to the extent that you see #dog posts in the future, it is up to you.
I could not disagree more with this comment - but, for the sake of discussion... what is it exactly that you feel is inappropriate about this?
How dare this person use an app which advertises itself, to share a pic with you. That IS low indeed.
I'm sorry that you feel that way. What you feel is acceptable and what the site as a whole feel acceptable can be two very different things. From me personally, I was going through a hard time and I wanted to talk about it. I don't have a lot of good friends that I can talk to, so I turned to the internet. I don't mean to intrude on your feed, but as others have said, you're free to ignore me and/or the tags I used for this post. I do agree that some people 'karmawhore' their dead relatives or pets, but I was genuinely wanting to talk and share experiences. I'm not ashamed to admit that I was bawling my eyes out the night I made this post. I just wanted to talk and maybe share memories. It really helped me to talk to a few people online, and I don't see why that should be restricted because of one user.
