gerrymandering is a big hot topic in NC right now. As is getting a ban on gay marriage in the state constitution. It's going to be on the primary ballot, which is a giant crock of shit since the only people that will be voting will be conservatives because Obama is not going to be contested.

Gerrymandering isn't exclusive to the GOP. Both parties work to optimize the geography to their advantage. Although, I will agree that having a party that essentially makes it their platform to strike down anything the opposing party puts forth is "disenfranchising" voters.
