I truly love the German language. I hated Frau Snow when she was drilling verb conjugation into my head in 10th grade, but I thank her now. Having said that du and sie were SUPER tricky and even way back then I think Frau Snow's rigid grammar brain struggled to explain the subtlety.

This was always a tricky part of speaking German for me. I'm a very informal kind of person, and I'm happy to see that the line is getting more and more blurred- never had much patience with calling teachers a different pronoun than my classmates!
