My apologies; been away from hubski for a while. Had my father-in-law visit from the USA for a month, then started a new job. Not a lot of free time lately; lots to learn on the new job, plus summer and Christmas, keeps me really busy. Bees are well, they have filled two boxes with brood and are working hard; I'll give them a third box soon, and will almost certainly get some honey from them in the next couple of months. So I'll be starting some mead brewing then. Made a porter a few weeks ago, and will be brewing a smoked porter, in the next few days. Good to be brewing semi-regularly again. Happy New Year to all, I'll be more active here soon, I expect.

The wort for the smoked porter is just now about to come to a boil, and the smell is heavenly. I've got a feeling this will be legendary when it's ready.
