To New York from Chicago. I'd like to fly to Argentina or Norway.

May I comment, that flying blows my mind as it should blow yours. Flying is only about 100 years old and look how we have conquered it. Louis CK is right. You are on a big chunk of aluminum (or carbon fiber if you are on something really new) flying through the air, like a bird. Its common place now and it has enabled so much. The world is tiny to us. Nothing is out of reach.

Everytime I am on a flight I ask for the window seat so I can stare out of it during the flight and marvel at what's going on.

Just a bonus to blow your mind, if you think that flight is easy to conquer in over 100 years, keep in mind that the Wright brothers flew in 1903 and Pearl Harbor occurred in 1941.

I've always enjoyed that Louis CK bit, it's right on the money. Most people feel so entitled to things that they forget their wonder.

"Flying is the worse one [...] They act like your flight was like a cattle car in Germany in the 40s. [...] They made us sit there on the runway for 40 minutes.

Oh really, what happened next, did you fly through the air incredibly, like a bird, did you partake in the miracle of human flight you non-contributing zero. You're Flying! Its amazing! [...] Your sitting in a chair in the sky."
