Seems to me this could be a very big deal. Unlike SpaceX and Amazon, which needed to get the infrastructure in place from scratch, Honda already has the assembly lines and facilities in place to accelerate a rocket series very quickly.

Honda has some amazing engineers and quality control systems. The city I work for picks the lowest bid for almost everything but mission critical systems use Honda pumps, motors and generators. Honda parts are almost the only thing that they'll spring significant extra money for. I think they would bring an entirely different set of values and decades of institutional experience that we don't see in companies like space X.
