Here we are again. I agree, this has been happening to brown people for a long time, and now when it happens to white people we get editorials and maybe action.

Still doesn't make it right though. We need due process for everyone. Freezing assets without due process is getting easier for governments. If it's finally getting bad for white people, it is getting even worse for brown people.

If an officer of the law is in "hot pursuit" of a suspect, they do not need a warrant or permission to pursue that suspect on private property or across state or county lines. A suspect in the process of committing a crime waives due process.

Trudeau revoked the Emergency Powers Act. The whining white people won. Again, a convoy of indigenous truckers would have had their property confiscated the minute they stepped out of the vehicles. I don't see anyone arguing that these laws need to change, just that white people should know they aren't to be applied to white conservatives no matter the circumstance.
