I dated a girl that escaped. I had no idea until one night she got very drunk and hid in our closet. I opened the closet door and she was shaking with fear. I had to say, "honey, it's me." and then she snapped out of it and hugged me. After that I noticed things I didn't before. certain scars on her body, etc. She eventually let me know that her mom was married to her uncle. He married two sisters. I'm 100% sure he raped her too.
