The past two weeks have been an endless game of trying to keep our phones up. Someone leaked REvil's keys so they got snitty and DDOS'd VoIP.ms, the favorite son of cheap-ass roll-your-own telecom guys. They wanted 1 BTC ransom, and when they didn't get it they upped it to 100BTC, and when they didn't get that they took out bandwidth.com for an afternoon, which means gutting big chunks of Google Voice, Microsoft Teams and e911. Then when that didn't work they backdoored their own ransomware-as-a-service platforms and stole all the money their clients had earned.
We managed? But we're reliant on two EHRs that are definitely vulnerable. So there's some soul-searching going on.
