Yeah, this is gonna get its own little immortalization in my post history, sorry.
Remember how Twitter and F-book refused to even host links to the NYPost article, and then when people were like "omg yyyyyy!!?!?", and then eventually Twitter was like "uhhh... it violates our hacked materials rule..."? I think there's pretty much a 100% chance that the intelligence community went to big tech and was like "hey so this is russian-originated disinformation, do you mind not circulating it?", and they were like "yeah ok". And then, Trump & co. can turn around and claim that conservatives are censored on social media, even though the upper echelons are knowingly trafficking in demonstrably false propaganda, like claims of large-scale voter fraud.
It's also painfully clear that the Trump & Giuliani Show, the hit series nominated for an impeachment, never ended. They're very much aware that they're in league with Russian intelligence operations. Up to, like, several hundred million times over.
Lately, I've been watching some good lectures and discussions with historians who specialize in fascism and autocracy. Timothy Synder's take on Trumpian "sado-populism" was spot on. It's probably not good that people who study dictatorships are freaking the fuck out.
