I read that Mr. Perry is has little experience by way of debate, it should be interesting. What I want to see is how much time they give Ron Paul, especially compared to media darling, Michele Bachmann. Ron Paul has far greater popular support than her but still see's only a small fraction of the media coverage she does.

I think the two big stories here are: 1. How well will Rick Perry convince American GOP'ers that he is the front runner? 2. Can Bachmann save a dwindling campaign? Her $ is reportedly no longer streaming in.

I am looking forward to watching this, if nothing else it makes great theater.

Yes, Rick Perry is front-runner because the media says it is so.

Last election, one of the questions in the GOP debate was whether or not they believed in evolution.

I was watching tv today and they showed footage of Perry telling a little kid (probably 10 years old) that evolution had a "lot of holes in it" which is why "in texas we teach both intelligent design and evolution". You can hear the mom say to the boy, "now ask him why he is against science". -Perry then moves on. He strikes me as the type that would tailor his answer to whatever crowd he's in front of. Tonight is CNBC, I think he will have a similar answer that he gave the kid.

The problem isn't the answer though, it's that the question needs asking.
