Merry Christmas everyone from the holy land! This was probably the nicest christmas with my closest family, yet. My father, after his multiple stents and near-death, seems to be more relaxed and accepting. My sisters and I were home. We ate together and enjoyed our time together. Yesterday we celebrated my moms 60th birthday. I am going to take her hiking up the alps in summer, under the condition that she gets fit. I wonder how much "homework" is needed for her to be able to do 3/4 hikes to 3000m in a week. What do you guys think? It has been raining like crazy since yesterday night. Everyone here is happy, it has been a dry season. I spent my morning unclogging a pretty nasty drain. And later today, I am heading to the annual "hannukah burn" called "Burnerot" (a combination of burn + nerot, which are candles). Should be a cozy one :)
