Numbers seem to check out on my end as well.

What you wrote got me thinking about eliminating the need to pump the air for scrubbing with a less efficient, long-term setup where you'd put those devices near coasts or similar places where winds are moderately constant in both direction and strength. It could be used where vegetation is unlikely to take off without even worse initial energy balance, supplementing reforestation and similar efforts elsewhere by at least not taking resources that could be used more beneficially elsewhere. There's probably a lot more 'strategy' behind applying any of those findings that goes way over my head, but maybe it will get more people speculating/discussing.

Plus the very idea of passive filtration through high surface areas is something we stole from plants and ocean-dwellers like sponges, clams and corals; this whole project is us showing we did our homework.

In any case, though, I don't think that this technology can be more than a booster/aid for the abovementioned nature-utilising efforts.
