Definitely odd decision. Wanna see how many episodes they are looking to do. May be trying to forcefully erase the memory of that prior live action attempt. Knowing how faithfully they story-boarded chereography for fights based on distinct martial art styles, anxious to see how they flesh out VFX for the elements themselves as follow up is. Here was the reference painting and original concept that informed the live-action still posted everywhere. I don't really think it's necessary to retell the story in live action
