I watched both videos and normally I'd be inclined to go with Shatner in nearly all things but I think I preferred Wil Wheaton here.

This is really remarkable stuff. I hope it doesn't end up hitting the Sky Crane when it's dropped. I keep thinking of "Goose" from Top Gun, when he hits his head as he attempts to eject from his plane.

There are so many variables, it's really amazing a launch happens at all yet alone gets a Rover to mars. Amazing accomplishments. I was listening to the radio today and they said NASA has links to all the places in the U.S. where you can go and keep tabs live on the landing. Here is the link Nasa.gov

P.S. Pretty sure Shatner was drunk.

Agreed, I watched the Shatner one first actually, and chose Wheaton.

I am so very worried about this landing.

Are you going to watch it somewhere? Or just follow online?

I'll be monitoring if it's at a reasonable hour. The schedule is for 5:31 UTC, so that's 1:31 AM for me, I believe. Hopefully it will get pushed forward a bit.
