Except that we've been reading about the fucking Peso every morning in SeekingAlpha's Wall Street Breakfast since the first goddamn debate.

You are talking about a keenly unstable system that gyrates spectacularly at any input; i may buy gun stocks tomorrow not because the election matters fuckall but because people are idiots.

I doubled my gun/weapons/war stock exposure with my "fuck if I give a shit" fund. Last big crazy bet I made with this was buying a crap top of Ford stock when it was under $2/share. I may be able to retire early depending on how nuts things get.
