4. didn't take me long to get to that point tbh... when it's expected of you, it's nowhere near as fun

7. good choice. this is a song that was in heavy rotation at my summer camp so it's always nostalgic. this was my mom's beatles song of choice to sing to us when my brother and i were kids (usually while bathing bc soap in the eyes is no bueno)

Did you know that I actually sat down to practice the fiddle in earnest for the first time since Topher bought it for me and immediately snapped a string while tuning?

Did you know that cats cannot taste sugar?

Did you know that Sarah McBride, the first trans person to address a major political convention (the DNC), was an alumna of my university? She's such a cool person and someone to watch for the future for sure.

Did you know it's super easy to join the marrow donor registry? All you have to do is request it here at BetheMatch.org , receive a set of cheek swabs, perform the swab, and send them back. This is especially important if you have a mixed family history because it's often hard to find an exact match for unusual ancestry combinations. I've been in the registry since 2010 and have only been contacted as a possible match once, but being available as a potential donor is important to me.

I've been on the registry for about 10 years and the only thing I've ever gotten from them is spam. They send a surprising amount of it, which is weird, because I don't need to be convinced. I'm already on the list.

i feel the same way. they're pretty sneaky about it too bc i feel like i've changed my settings to prevent them from sending me anything other than the "keep me current in the registry" and the alerts of a possible match email.
