A year from now I will own a house with a garage. In that garage will be an '80s GM G-Body with me, a Haynes manual, and a bunch of half busted tools. Blue Oyster Cult will be blaring on the radio as I take pictures of whatever it is I just broke to post to Hubski as I beg kleinbl00 and lm to help me figure out how to fix it. Naturally, I expect them to give me shit for working on a busted 305 with enough rubber hoses to reach the moon and back.

This is my dream. I will make it happen

Dude 305s are lame.

Even a 2-bolt 350 kicks the shit out of. $1500. it don't take much.

Oh no. I totally agree. I just figure, if I fuck up royally and bust a stock 305 nothing of value is lost. Once I know what I'm doing though? 350 all the way. 383 stroker if I'm feeling stupid.

Truth.

Thing is though? Breaking a 305 means you have to haul it out, pull the dirty bits on and put it on something else. Takes your weekend right the fuck down.

Gotta say. Not a fan of breaking motors. Far better to build it tougher than you need, and then drive it.

Whatever shit I give you for that, you can give me twice as much back for working on a vehicle with Bosch mechanical fuel injection, which I can only assume was designed by a room full of bored and drunk German engineers.

True fact. kleinbl00 is actually a huge fan of Bosch. From their engineering designs to their production quality to their customer service. He just can't stop singing their praises. He's been particularly pleased with a certain Bosch washer of his. /s

Edit: What are you working on that is using Bosch designs? I thought you were fixing up a Mr2.

I daily an '84 VW Rabbit too! Eventually, I'd like to switch it to EFI, since the bosch MFI stuff is already unobtanium and is only going to get harder to maintain as time goes on, but that is a proper Long-Term Project (5+ years away, I reckon).

Dude.

Fuckin' Bosch mechanical fuel injection.

So retarded.
