This is blowing my mind. Computer artwork/animation/music with severe memory constraints. The culture is called 'demoscene' and it dates back to early computer days. The above video is one of the best examples. The art and music and everything is a 4k program that runs on a window platform. It won the Breakpoint 2009 demoscene competition in Germany.
As someone who used to pack a lot of programming into 4k back in the VIC-20 day and succeed at very VERY basic graphics, I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how this is possible. Of course the hardware is a lot better now, but still...
