It's been an all Thrash metal weekend, thanks to Master Of Puppets turning 30-damned-years-old Thursday. Seek and Destroy arguably my favorite Metallica Song and a damned great entry point into old school Metallica. Then you get into covers of metal songs in genera that should not work, but do. Banjo cover of Battery for example. There are even groups dedicated to covering metal with acoustic instruments, and they are phenomenal. Raining Blood by Slayer done by a Chamber band Uptown Funk by the same group as above. And I leave you with a cover of Number of the Beast by the exact same band as above. It looks like Vitamin String Quartet branched out a few years back and are now covering more pop and popular music, so if you want to see what pop music would be like with a string band, they got you covered.
I always preferred Slayer; that cover of Raining Blood is awesome.
