I really hope this doesn't upset you, but tonight I was recording some music and took the liberty of putting some of your words to music. It's really just a sketch of a song but with your permission, I would like to re-record the vocals to allow them to fit the song and to include them in entirety.
I really enjoyed this poem and it seemed to fit what I was working on (from my perspective). No offense will be taken if you wish me to stop using your words. I don't intend on sharing the song outside of with you. Here is a link to it: http://youtu.be/Jo0p0-okKhg Cheers!

That's great!! Thanks, I can't tell you how guilty I've been feeling about this. I'm really glad you are okay with it because the words are starting to fit the song and I'd like to re-record them, add some drums/bass and other instrumentation. I'm going to have at it tonight!
