Fabulous!! Thanks for posting this. Did the poem just spill out of you, you and wife together, the Great Wall. From your coats, it looks like winter. Is the sky as gray as it looks? Have you seen any sky since you landed, or just the haze?
The poem just came as I posted this. I felt the need to say it and rhyme. I followed my instincts. Yes it's winter and COLD. But that's okay I'm used to it. The sky is nearly always gray but when we went to the forbidden palace it cleared up and was blue, maybe the universe has a sense of ironic timing. In Shanghai its much smoggier but that's where home is. We're moving into a new apartment after we get back ( we have a 4 day hike the day after we land ) then I am looking forward to resting for a while. It's been a busy time ever since I got here and while I don't regret it I look forward to some time to just think by myself in silence. I'm trying to keep on hubski the internet everywhere stinks though.
