I feel like self-driving cars are going to be kind of like smartphones. They're just going to fade in and slowly push out the existing car market. There'll always be some "dumb" phones and "dumb" cars, but that number is going to drop as time goes on. * with the added note that self driving cars will be way safer than human drivers statistically, which theoretically will incentivize their adoption.
