When I suffered through my worst bout of depression it was the exact opposite. I felt like time was slipping through my fingers, and I was running out of it. Due dates seemed suffocatingly close, and I never felt like I was given ample amounts of time for stuff.

That's how it's usually been for me too. I think it might have something to do with how I lost interest in a lot of things. I've heard that time seems to speed up as you settle into a routine and have fewer new experiences. Something similar might have been happening in my case.
