I once heard someone describe India as the wild west of business. There are "laws" but everyone pretty much does what they want, consequences be damned. Bribery, blackmailing, backstabbing and outright theft are just part of everyday business. It's kind of crazy to think about.

Sure, but when you're Apple and you have as much scrutiny regarding their ethics as they do, you have to play by the rules, even when others don't. You can use methods to try and change the rules but it sounds like that hasn't been working. What a huge consumer market though.
