:) I too thought G+ was going to be bigger than Facebook. The main difference is that the friends I have on facebook are not in G+ (but i thought that, that was the point, if I wanted the same friends I would still use Facebook). My G+ stream is full of links, discussions and funny things though, I use circles, one is from the Hacker News community (the main theme are investing and startup articles...) the other is the reddit one (funny gifs, interesting articles... cats...) etc.
