newgameplus, vegan is something I don't have the resolve for. I just couldn't do without cheese.
Precisely what I thought until I tried. Turns out I don't actually miss it that much. Oh and also daiya happens to be quite tasty. Eggs were what actually ended being a bit difficult at first. Those things are everywhere.

Really what it comes down to though, is it's actually quite easy to be vegan where I live here in Southern California. There's a Trader Joe's near me, a Whole Foods currently being built close by, at least 4 nearby fully vegan restaurants, a vegan bakery up the street and at least one vegan food truck that moves around the area. Add to that all the places that have vegan options and I really have no complaints. Not to mention what I eat now tends to taste much better than the fast food I was practically living on before. Also, I already get regular blood tests so it's easy to throw in a test for B12 levels and such to make sure I'm staying healthy.

For many other people, I think going vegan would turn out to be a much greater commitment.

Sounds like you live in vegan nirvana. Eggs are in everything, you're right. The whole "fast food" thing was a great bonus to going vege. I used to eat a lot more than I ever owned up to. Now that I'm a vegetarian, there is really only 1 place I can get anything... Taco Bell. I reserve the right to go there once in a very rare blue moon. -For example, a night I go out drinking with insomniasexx and drop her off at her hotel... on such a night I would definitely go to Taco Bell.... and I did.

After you dropped me off I ran into these guys having a bachelor party in the room below me. They got 8 pizzas. I had about 6 pieces before they called me out on it.

HA! Nice work, the kind of thing only a cute girl could get away with. Anyone else wouldn't have made it passed slice 1.

Well someone else might if they grab them all at once. That actually happened, serendipitously enough, at my sister's New Year's Eve/Bachelor/Bachelorette party a few months ago. The party was Old Hollywood themed, so it was really obvious whenever random people would wander in since they weren't exactly dressed for the occasion. It happened a few times over the course of the night.

The last guy to do it happened to come in like right after a bunch of pizza was delivered and was super drunk. He stacked 5 or 6 slices on a plate then just found a place to sit down and started eating. My brother-in-law had to talk him into leaving, but he let him keep the pizza.

So all yah gotta do is grab and run.
