Don't hear Mahavishnu every day; good call. On a related note, have you ever heard John McLaughlin and Carlos Santana's rendition of Coltrane's "Naima". Its on the album Love, Devotion, Surrender. Its one of the most beautiful guitar duets I've ever heard. But certainly this was many years before Santana became the shoe peddler he is today.
