So in the "What are the topics you wish were discussed more on Hubski?" post, I mentioned people should use the #musicians tag some more.
So how about we talk about what musical stuff we use? Instruments, gear, rigs. I know musicians tend to like to acquire these sorts of things. Show 'em!
Here's my collection of (almost) entirely Ibanez basses, and a cat on my pedalboard blocking out my hubski sticker.
My synth setup is a Moog Sub Phatty chained through three Moogerfooger effects pedals--the phaser, the cluster flux (flanger/chorus) and the ring modulator. For keys, I play a Nord Stage 2 and/or a Rhodes Mk. II. Occasionally I use a set of Eko k1 bass pedals to fill in the low frequency range when I jam on the Rhodes.
Those are some sexy basses. I don't have a family pic (my gear is scattered between 3 living spaces), but I typically play a Strat or Tele into a marshall DSL40. I have a couple of pedals (some self made), but I find I only really use my Soul Food (Klon Clone). I also have a Les Paul and and some kind of Ibanez Artcore that I got for a steal at $50 (it wasn't working...until I reconnected a wire). I love those guitars, I am just more a single-coil kind of guy.
I've got a crazy fuzz pedal that has some interesting...side effects, but isn't really practical for regular use. You can get some interesting trumpet sounds, or go full Hendrix. I get a lot of compliments on it despite it being a mess. I also have a better made buffer/boost and a tremolo of my own design.
