It's like Scott Walker knows about this, he keeps saying "the people of America"...Take a swig when a politician says "The American People."

They weren't even that bad with it today, honestly. My favorite is when they say stuff like "The American People know better than that, Obama/Bush/Trump! The American People are smarter than that! The American People are resilient!" etc, etc, etc. It's the pandering use that really bothers me and cracks me up.
