Loved those books! Although kinda dreading what syfy is going to do to the Shrike. One thing I do need to read is the poetry those books talk about, Keats in particular. I feel like a lot of poetry goes right over my head though.

So I'm terribly uneducated when it comes to poetry. I can read each word, but it all tends to go over my head. Can I just dive in to Keats or do I need to work my way up?

Keats is pretty straightforward, but I'd start with the Odes, rather than Endymion. Ode on Melancholy and Ode to a NIghtingale are my favorites. Bright Star is also easy, as it's only a sonnet (14 lines). Let me know if you need help with scansion or with parsing a line or stanza!
