I never cared for the sound of Marshall's. I have a Fender Princeton Reverb II from the early 80's designed by Paul Rivera. It's a sweet little 22 watt amp that has a a ton of tonal flexibility. It's as loud as you need for any normal practice space. Marshall's are just loud. People play too loud as it is, bands are shittier because of it.
