Probably my favorite scene from Birdman. Random person shouts Macbeth in the background.
Here's the whole soliloquy, although in the scene it starts at the third line.
- She should have died hereafter;
There would have been a time for such a word.

Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
To the last syllable of recorded time;
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle!
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player

We had to memorize that whole soliloquy for English class. It was so powerful hearing it in Birdman, and it really sums up the struggles Michael Keaton's character is going through.
Hahaha! Macbeth is the play that really got me into Shakespeare. People say Hamlet is his most philosophical, but I think it's definitely Macbeth.
Oh totally! I love Hamlet as well. I've recently started truly appreciating Shakespeare. Reading it in school it never clicked just how genius Shakespeare was.
