Haha, way to put things in perspective, thank you. And yes, it will be okay. I just can't help but be (a) anxious about whether the hotel will find it and (b) sad that we lost this particular dress from such a meaningful occasion. At least we have tons of professional photos of the thing, so that's something. One day a better dress will be had; for now that was easily the nicest item of clothing either of us owned. Oh well, I doubt I will forget to check the closets again on the way out of some place.
