Yeah... maybe not the best choice then.

Save up a little and buy something old and broken. Then fix it. No quality of life hit with all the frustration of mechanicing!

go with a shitty old bug. The thrashers are cheap, they don't cost much to fix, and the clean ones can be sold at a decent profit. Plus, there are very few parts on a beetle that can't be removed and replaced with a leatherman.

I'm actually a huge fan of 80's GM G-Bodies. I've been flirting with the idea of picking up an El Camino for about 2 years now. My only problem is I have no place to store it.
