I put a lot of anti-police sentiment on this place. I have been lucky even in my bad experiences with law enforcement.
I'm hoping that there are some percentage of police officers that are feeling glee that the ranks are beginning to be held to standards that resemble justice.
Camera and video phones. Dash cameras. Body cameras. Pervasive surveillance. All of it points to that executive authority needs honed by constant evaluation, and loud criticism.
Without the constant, forceful and repeated hands of residents pushing back against the citizens with executive authority (the police) then the systemic brutality leads no justice and no rule of law.
