Just prior to the 2008 election, I drove to Cleveland Ohio to go door to door for Obama. The election was literally a couple days away. It was my job to knock on doors and let registered voters know where their polling station was. What I found on the door knobs of most of the voters were flyers that had incorrect information about where to go. -This was completely intentional. Others mentioned that someone had already stopped by to let them know where they were supposed to go, they were given the wrong information.
I've seen first hand what the ground battle looks like during these things. It's very real, it's definitely seedy but it's also a shit-ton of fun when you're a part of it.
I wish that I was as excited about a candidate this time so that I could once again knock on doors.
