I once discovered a subreddit (can't remember what it was called) dedicated to people talking about 'dimension hopping' or some such thing. Their instructions for doing it started with staring at yourself in a mirror in a dark room for 10 minutes or so.
I hope it didn't mess anyone up too badly.

Nope, and I think I'd rather not. EDIT: Wait, that's not true, I did try it once. I think I got bored before anything weird happened. Or the room was too dark. A 25W bulb sounds bright enough for me.
