I agree with him. I also worry that we won't be able to prevent ourselves from doing it.

As you may know I believe that there is only a Singular "Singularity" :) What I meant was that it is entirely possible that we are under observation by other Sentients. The Human Eye has only recently been opened. Anyway, the thought occurred in the shower this morning that we merely need to restrict access to (a) morphoplastic technologies, and (b) mind influencing interfaces to keep our mechanical servants in line.
